(to anchor goodness and ease in our body memory)
(to sooth our (collective) nervous system)

Erotics, or reclaiming pleasure, as a radical political practice is a term coined by Audre Lorde.

Lorde’s contribution to the north American movement of (queer) black feminism is still inspiring the actual generation of activists, such as Tricia Hersey (The Nap Ministry), adrienne maree brown (Pleasure Activism) or Ebony Janice (All Black Girls Are Activists).

Within a ever-more-accelerating mercantile society, we gather to cultivate rest as an oasis of sanity* and to nourish joy as a deep underground inner river, streaming through us and fostering our connection to all forms of life, with curiosity, respect and gratitude, starting by our own body.

A space to refine our perception, our proprioception,
A space to sense, to feel.
A space to breathe and grow trust from within.

* oasis of sanity is a term I have learned from Ani Pema Chödrön, buddhist teacher, as a practice or a relationship that support us to nurture fundamental okness (which is joy in its buddhist sense).
