A dedicated held time for you to grieve and praise, to mourn through movement and creative contemplatives practices.
Whether you are grieving the state of the world, someone dear to your heart, honouring a gate in your life,… there is place for you and your emotions.
We will circle together, honour individual and collective grief, with emphasis on body-wisdom and presence, more than storytelling.
A brave and safe explorative space supported by nature, with lots of space for your own process and rhythm.
Blending contemplative practices, Authentic Movement and Open Floor movement practice, with gentleness, loving kindness and reverence for what is.
“Grief is subversive, undermining the quiet agreement to behave and be in control of our emotions. It is an act of protest that declares our refusal to live numb and small. There is something feral about grief, something essentially outside the ordained and sanctioned behaviors of our culture. Because of that, grief is necessary to the vitality of the soul. Contrary to our fears, grief is suffused with life-force…. It is not a state of deadness or emotional flatness. Grief is alive, wild, untamed and cannot be domesticated.”
– Francis Weller, The Wild Edge of Sorrow
What to expect : movement and dance, with and without music, guided and free, some sounding, some journaling, some humour too.
